Fake Exchange Websites & Counterfeit Exchange Apps

So convincing it looks real — all displayed figures are fictitious.

These fraudulent platforms are designed to look nearly identical to legitimate exchanges — from logos, layouts, and color schemes to real-time price charts, trading interfaces, and deposit/withdrawal pages — making them extremely difficult to distinguish at first glance. Many even feature functional trading buttons and simulated market movements to build your trust.
Once you deposit real money or genuine USDT, the numbers displayed on your screen are fully controlled by scammers from their backend system — they can arbitrarily inflate your balance, show "profits," or display fake transaction records. When you attempt to withdraw funds, you will face endless excuses: "system maintenance," "account verification pending," "withdrawal limit reached," or "funds locked for review." In nearly all cases, you will never receive the actual funds, and your principal will be completely lost.
Scammers often boost visibility by purchasing Google ads, placing fake links at the very top of search results or posing as official download sources on app stores, tricking users into believing they are accessing a reputable platform. A separate variant operates as a credential-harvesting page — it looks authentic but only captures your login credentials, which scammers immediately use to access your real exchange account and drain your assets.
✅ How to protect yourself:
1. Always type the official website address manually into your browser; never follow links from search ads, text messages, social media, or unsolicited messages
2. Verify the exchange’s existence and official domain through trusted platforms such as CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko
3. Inspect URLs carefully — common deceptions include subtle alterations like bybit-official.com instead of bybit.com, or binance-exchange.vip instead of binance.com
4. Download apps only from official websites or verified app stores; reject installation files from cloud links, group chats, or third-party file-sharing sites
